All Babies Count

All Babies Count serves as the leader of a comprehensive coalition of local infant mortality reduction agencies and programs. The initiative serves as liaison to the Governor’s Office of Children’s Care Coordination, reviews policies pertaining to infant mortality and conducts campaigns with organizations to increase public awareness.

 
 

All Babies Count (ABC) Toolkit

Welcome to the All Babies Count - ABC House Meetings, where you will experience not only new ways to become an agent of change, but also discover how to become a children’s champion on behalf of Memphis and Shelby County children. The ABC House Meetings is the answer to the call to action!

ABC House Meetings are an intimate way to share and raise community awareness about the preventative measures to infant mortality, including; preconception care, premature birth, preterm labor, stress, infant safety and community action.

 

ABC House Meetings are easy as 1-2-3!

• Simply invite family, friends, co-workers, neighbors to a venue of your choice
(Minimum of 6 people)
• Be creative, add a theme, serve light refreshments and drinks
• Host a forum to discuss ABC Toolkit materials to create a plan of action

The toolkit includes everything to prepare for hosting your own event; A letter to the host, a checklist, an invitation, an agenda, an Infant Mortality factsheet, a pledge and a sign in sheet.
