West Tennessee Child Passenger Safety Center (WTCPSC)
A partnership between the Governor’s Highway Safety Office and Shelby County Office of Early Childhood and Youth.
The West Tennessee Child Passenger Safety Center (WTCPSC) program focuses on child passenger safety for children under the age of fourteen in 22 West Tennessee Counties. Read about community outreach events offered to daycare centers, health care providers, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
The West Tennessee Child Passenger Safety Center provides the following:
- Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Checkpoints
- An official CPS fitting station
- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 32-Hour CPS Course
- Non-Certifying CPS awareness courses (8 and 4 hours)
- Health Fair Exhibitions
- CPS presentations, workshops, and exhibits
- CPS statistical information
- CPS literature (pamphlets, brochures, magazines, etc.)
- CPS videos tape library
