Airbag Deployment - Front Passenger Seat

Never place a rear-facing seat in front of an active air bag. This video shows the affects of placing a child in front of an active airbag.

Forward Facing - 12 Month Old Child - Demonstration

Children should stay rear facing for a minimum of 1 year and 20lbs. It is recommended that parents should rear-face their child longer than the minimum requirement if possible.  This video shows the affects of a child who has been turned around too early (does not meet weight requirement).  Please play close attention to the extension of the neck and head.
